Swarthmorewood Athletic Association

Since 1956, Swarthmorewood Athletic Association (SWAA) has been providing baseball, softball, football, and cheerleading programs to our community's children. We are a 100% volunteer-based organization. Swarthmorewood Athletic Association's goal is to teach and develop the fundamentals of sportsmanship, teamwork, physical fitness, and healthy competition.

Making the transition from t-ball to softball & baseball is tough for our

youngest players. The childrens arms are not yet strong enough to pitch, there

is fear of getting hit by a pitch, and little action in the field. That is why

our 8U divisions will hit off the pitching machine. Development is our priority.

COVID 19 Close Contact Guide

Close Contacts

  • You were within 6 feet of someone who has COVID-19 for 15 minutes or more over 24 hours
  • You provided care at home to someone who is sick with COVID-19
  • You had direct physical contact with the person (hugged or kissed them)

Close contacts are at risk of becoming infected if you had contact with them 2 days before they developed symptoms or 2 days before their test was performed if they did not have symptoms.

Date of exposure is considered Day 0

A 14-Day quarantine period is recommended as it offers the most protection from spreading COVID-19 to others.

The following alternatives are acceptable:

  • Option 1: No test and no symptoms, quarantine may end after day 10
  • Option 2: Negative test result on or after day 5, quarantine may end after day 7

Vaccinated persons with an exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 are not required to quarantine if:

  • Are fully vaccinated (≥2 weeks following last dose in series)
  •  Have remained asymptomatic (no symptoms) since the current COVID-19 exposure
